Volume II, Issue 6, Febuary 16, 2001 Hello again The computer is fixed. Ray tore it completely apart then put it back together. Took him several hours to get it running. That's all I know. Anyway He got it fixed not too long after it broke down but I got on a procrastination spurt or maybe non-spurt. I didn't have a fixed deadline so kept putting things off. I work best with a deadline. Didn't help I was a day behind for most of the week. Until 2:30 today I was thinking this was Thursday. That's when it was oh expletive deleted. I need to get this out. Anyway I am back. Found the new website location just have to get everything moved over and need to get it done before it's a huge backup on new stuff to add. Anyway I'm back and Whispers is back. Watkins This week I gave another person this exercise. It's to build self- confidence. I got the original as a way to break bad habits you would repeat over and over "I will not do X" and it helps you not do "X." It's been modified though as a way to combat poor self-confidence. I should warn you it could be very powerful. I have had people break down and cry using it. I have had one person get physically ill from trying to say that many nice things about herself. Items needed: 40 beads. Any type color shape you want A cord, ribbon, or thing thread that will thread through the bead and longer then needed to hold all the beads A needle if needed for the cord String the first bead. Tie it on the cord towards one end. Say something nice about as you tie it in place. Make sure it's something truly nice about you. I.E. "I am Pretty" NOT "I don't scare small children." "I am smart" NOT "well I am not too stupid" Now comes the hard part. String 38 more beads saying 38 more nice things about yourself. You can repeat things. Do try to add, "I am confident" in there a couple three times. String on the fortieth bead tie it in place at least 3-4 bead lengths from the others. You want to have a bit of sliding room. Make sure you add a fortieth nice thing about yourself as you tie the bead into place. Now at least once a day every day for at least a month straight use the string. Say something nice about yourself with each bead. It works best right before bed but can be said at any time. Good luck and happy healing ~*~*~*~ All articles, poems, etc are copyrighted by the writers of said items and are used with permission.
